Parent & Child Bookshelf to Support Well-Being
At Redhill, we believe that books are an invaluable resource for allowing children to explore and understand the issues and new situations which they may face in their lives. As a result of this belief, we have set up a small library outside the Reception classroom for parents. In this library, you can find child-friendly books focussed on key issues including health, birth, death and mental wellbeing.
If there is a change in your child's life or a new concept they are struggling to understand with regards to their health, you are invited to take a book from this selection whenever you need and utilise it as a tool for discussion with your children at home.
As always, this is just one option available to you and we would welcome any parents to come in to school and discuss with our leadership team or a teacher if you require or would like to find out more about the support available to you both in school and externally.
If you see a book on here which you would like to check out, either pop in to school to pick it up, or send us a message and we will have it ready in the office for you to collect.
