Structure and Remit of the Academy Trust

The members of the Academy Trust are as follows: 

 

 

Members meet as required and at least once a year. The remit of the members is to assess if the board of trustees (governors) are performing well and to ensure that the charitable objective of the trust is being fulfilled. The Department for Education’s Governance Handbook advises that the role of members in the running of the trust is minimal and one of oversight.
